Were you able to find all the fossil shark teeth on the homepage?
In this brightened photo you can see the Otodus megalodon tooth near the center of the image. (I stepped right past this one.) This was on a cold winter day along the Calvert Cliffs and the tooth was frozen to the ground.
Zoomed in here is a 1 inch extinct white shark tooth, Carcharodon hastalis, in the shadow of a large boulder. This was found as float on a beach towards the southern end of the Calvert Cliffs.
Centered above is a tooth from a requiem shark, Carcharhinus sp. On the homepage, look towards the top right of the original photo. This tooth was found along the Potomac River.
